RECIPE SUBMITTED BY Genessa Chandler Nims

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup brown sugar

3 tbsp worchershire sauce.

Put it on the stove to cook it to a smooth sauce.

I use it in my meatloaf and my family went from hating meatloaf to wanting it once a week.

You can add garlic…onion powders too. Just use little bits until you get your special taste.

  • Cynthia Mabes I am doing pulled pork bbq in the crock pot. Do you think I could mix this up and cook it with the pulled pork
  • Genessa Chandler Nims It would be delicious. We have replaced store bought BBQ sauce in our house for this. You can start off basic and add any flavoring to it but the worchershire sauce makes such a delicious difference.
I have used this on a pork roast in my crock pot and we ate it plain with sides that night and sandwiches the next day.
    Cynthia Mabes Thank you
  • After reading your recipe I found a can of sloppy joe and added it. Hopefully it works.
  • Becky Smith Morrison I have done this same recipe even added a splash of vinegar or mustard
Lynn McGinnis Like Becky, I add just a touch of mustard, for a tangy-ness…but otherwise my recipe is much the same. You might try a scattering of chili powder for a different taste.
