Smothered chicken

I bought a whole chicken and cut it into pieces and used all purpose seasoning. Dusted it it seasoned flour. I sauteed the chicken in grape seed oil until brown.

I removed the chicken and made a pan gravy. (Gravy: add flour to the skillet and whisk until brown, then slowly add the chicken broth to prevent lumps..I added diced onions)Then I returned the chicken and let it simmer for 30 more minutes on low. Sprinkled with parsley.

Serve
