SERENA’S PANCAKE PIE (APPLE)



So if your like me and you Can apple pie filling and freeze it you sometimes find you have a lot of leftover pie filling to use up.. I Like to make up dishes with this pie filling sometimes.. today is one of those days..  I  just made an apple pie out of some of my frozen pie filling and had about 2 1/2 to 3 cups leftover…. this is what I came up with..

PANCAKE PIE (APPLE)


in a small  glass dish.. 11 1/2 x 7 I think it is.. will have to check later when we eat it all up LOL…

line the dish with one pie crust shake some sugar and cinnamon on it

and throw in the oven at 400 degrees just till crust bubbles up some..

take it out and add your pie filling.. I used about 2 1/2 cups of my leftover apple pie filling.

Next take the instant pancake batter… just add water kind.. about 1 1/2 to 2 cups and add 1 cup of water stirring till thin enough to spread but not too thin..

spread evenly as you can and sprinkle some cinnamon sugar mixture over top..

put in oven at 400 degrees for  20 minutes or till it is totally done.. prick the top sightly with fork to see if batter is cooked through…

Serve with Vanilla Ice Cream and Maple Syrup
