Serena’s Own Hot Dog Chili ****

1 lb. Ground beef thawed

1-diced onion

(can add 1 -2 Tbsp of green pepper minced if you have it on hand fresh but if you leave it out you will still have the green pepper taste cause I use CHUNKY salsa and when it simmers the green pepper comes out)

Directions

With oil sauté onions and add

Salt pepper, Brown hamburger together in pot.

Stir hamburger with  whisk to get meat to right consistency for hot dogs. Once browned add 1 Cup water, 1 cup ketchup, 1 Tbsp chili powder (1/2 at a time while stirring). Then add 1/2 c Ortega Sauce (mild) and 3 Tbsp Sam’s Choice CHUNKY Salsa (mild) or homemade chunky canned garden salsa

Bring mixture to a boil add salt and pepper again let simmer till thickens or 30 min and continue to check and stir.

Go to SAMS club get the NACHO CHEESE Sauce 4.99 and right beside it the box with two bags of Nacho Chips also 4.99.. then go to the isle with plates and you will find the nacho trays 4.99 15.00 bucks for all this and you can feed a HUGE crowd… simply warm your Cheese in your crock pot and make some homemade hot dog chili to go with it and you are done to enjoy the party with every one else…

NOTE for super large crowds you need TWO 5 lb (80 oz.) tubes of ground chuck to fill up a whole stock pot with chili
