Old-Fashioned Cream Cheese Pound Cake

8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

1 1/2 cups (3 sticks)  butter, room temperature
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups All purpose flour

2 teaspoons vanilla
Preheat to 325°F.
Oil and flour or spray a large deep sponge cake pan  ( a bundt pan will be too small )

Mix the cream cheese and butter till smooth.

Add the sugar gradually and beat until fluffy

Add the eggs one at a time while mixing

Add the flour all at once and mix until well combined.

Add vanilla and mix thoroughly

Pour the batter into the prepared pan 

Bake for 1 hour or till done

Dust with powdered sugar
