This is a very popular dessert all over the web and in lots of cookbooks.. my friend Rosetta makes this quite a bit and I decided to make it, only my way.. I added the Hershey’s Syrup and made my homemade  favorite brownies, and homemade custard.. I love it.. think maybe will even add some caramel next time.. this is a dessert you can have fun with and make your way. =)

1 box fudge brownies (or your scratch brownie recipe of choice I made homemade, type in Serena’s perfect brownies in search bar for recipe)


4 boxes instant chocolate pudding ( I also made my own choc custard  http://cookingwithserena.com/?p=6632 )


1 large Cool Whip or Canned Whipped Cream

1 bag Heath bar crunch (or 6 Heath candy bars chopped).

1 package Oreo cookies

Hershey Syrup

(optional: chopped nuts of your choice to sprinkle on layers or on top for decoration, save heath Bar chunks and oreo for top decoration as well).

Bake brownies and cool. Make pudding and chill.

After brownies have cooled, break into chunks. In a Trifle Bowl or Punch Bowl, layer ingredients in layers, starting with brownies and ending with Cool Whip.

Chill Until Needed Best ate right after or next day…after that will begin to bleed into layers and cookies will be mushy.
