CHICKEN WITH NOODLES AND SWEET PEAS
Boneless, skinless, chicken thighs with noodles and some sweet peas. More comfort food.
I boiled chicken thighs, added some cream of mushroom soup, and then added noodles. I cooked to almost tender, turned off, covered with a top and left sitting until noodles were tender.
Peas was always what momma cooked with this dish when we were younger, so I followed suit.
Seasoned chicken with pepper, salt, Cajun seasoning, soul seasoning, and some cut up onions.

  • Johnnie Smith Back in the day when my momma made it wasn’t nothing boneless or skinless though. lol
  • Serena Adkins Ellison I know it is fattening but man the flavor that comes out of that skin.. m m and mmm
  • Johnnie Smith I buy the thighs b/c they do leave a lil bit of fat on them, and then the soup makes it taste real good. Btw, whatever soup I have in the cabinet is what I use. I actually used cream of celery this time. lol
