Rosetta Sperring I appreciate it Marrianna. I do plan on making this sometime soon. Is there any history on this pie Marrianna? Is it a family recipe, or a new recipe you’ve tried? I’m just curious where you got the recipe from. It looks amazing, and you did such a great job with the lattice. I don’t think I could do as well as you that’s for sure.

Thank you rosetta! It was something I created for my husband. He wanted something sweet and he didn’t want a frozen or grocery store pie , I passed the pre made crusts and the idea hit me… So I got the crust for .99, the pie filling for 1.19, the sweetened condensed milk for 1.29, the aluminum pie tin for .99 and the pecans for 2.99. The egg I had at home! I am in a bit of trouble because now he says I can never buy a pie again!!! He loved it!

Depending on heat probably closer to 20 min. I did it on 5-6 , for about 18 min it was a light brown/tan.
