a dessert soooo simple!! Literally only 3 ingredients.. Well 4  because you have TWO bags of fruit!!

FYI it was good but if I make it again I will add a tbsp of artificial sweetener or honey so my fruit won’t be quite as tart

WEIGHT WATCHERS FRUIT COBBLER

INGREDIENTS

2-16 oz bags of any frozen fruit

1 box yellow cake mix

1- 12oz can diet sprite or diet 7 up

Aluminum foil

Preheat oven to 350 F

Place both bags of frozen fruit into a 13×9 baking dish DO NOT THAW FRUIT  (here I used a bag of frozen red raspberries and a bag of whole strawberries which I did slice)

Sprinkle DRY cake mix over top of frozen fruit

Pour entire can of DIET Sprite or 7-Up over mixture

Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes.

UNCOVER and bake an additional 40 minutes.

Serve

5 Points – 3 points if you use a light mix

MY CONCLUSION AND RESULTS AFTER MAKING THIS:

SMELL: SMELLED WONDERFUL as it was baking..

APPEARANCE: (at the end of the baking I was very disappointed in how it LOOKED the top had a lot of cake mix showing so I took a tiny bit of sprite, you could use water too, and lightly poured where it was most dry, just enough to moisten it.. then put it on BROIL till the top crust was browned) Appearance was greatly changed by doing that..

TIPS: ALSO if  you cut it while fresh out of the oven it WILL be runny.. but I do believe after sitting a bit, or refrigerated this will thicken.. I recommend letting it set at least 5 minutes if you can wait that long before cutting..

TASTE: I can tell that it has less sugar than normal, because of the tartness of the berries…  but it does have a nice pleasant taste and I can see this being a dish that would help when you need a comfort food like cobbler but don’t want the calories.
