Teresa’s Lazy Day Chicken n’ Dumplings

1 big pkg of boneless/skinless chicken breasts

4 cans Swanson’s Fat Free Chicken Broth

2-3 pkgs. of Pioneer Peppered Gravy

Salt and Course Ground Pepper to taste

Place chicken breasts in big pot and cover with water. Boil for 2 hours. I skim off any foam or visible fat. I usually have 2-4 cups of water left. Take out breasts and put in plate to cool. Add the 4 cans of chicken broth to the water. Open up the gravy mixes and dump into water and whisk until absorbed. Bring to a boil. Shred chicken and place into pot. I just use two forks and pull apart because they are so hot.

Dumplings:

2 cups Bisquick

3/4-1 cup of milk or buttermilk

mix well. Dough should be soft not hard. Place into boiling pot by heaping tablespoons. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer. The best comfort food ever!!! My grandaughter absolutely loves this!!
