My MIL taught me make slaw dressing putting a couple of heaping tablespoons of mayo into a glass measuring cup, add canned milk to about 1 c. line, add a smidge of sugar and stir. It starts out runny but thickens right up. If it is not tangy enough add a little vinegar. Never had any exact measurements to go by.
