Serena’s Chocolate Coconut Custard Cake

“not a pretty cake, but definitely a tasty cake”

 

1 Devils Food Cake mix

 

made per instruction in large glass Lasagna Dish

 

Next Make homemade Vanilla  Custard over your stove top (careful not to scorch)

( 8 eggs – Yellow)

(3 cups sugar)

(Vanilla)

(3-4 cups milk)

(1 stick butter)

(2 tbsp Cornstarch)

 

When custard is done add some coconut to the custard

Pour coconut filling over top of cake spread evenly..

Have some Chocolate Candy Frosting made

1/2 c butter (melted)

6 tbsp milk or more

1/3 c cocoa

1 box confectioner sugar (4 cups)

Mix to right consistency .. not too thick to spread but not too thin either…

Pour over with Chocolate candy frosting.

 

Sprinkle a little coconut over top

Let sit in fridge to let candy frosting sit up and then cut.. … like I said..it’s not a pretty cake but it is a tasty cake
