Serena’s Easy Chili recipe made with rigatoni and penne noodles
Dab of oil
1 Chopped Onion
saute’ onions then add your burger
2-3 lbs burger (Ground Chuck)

After browning add pouch of McCormick’s original Chili seasoning
1 can of tomato paste (Hunts)
Add 1 VERY Large Can (40 1/2 oz) of light Red Kidney Beans (Hanover Brand you will find it at Krogers only) don’t add juice from beans
Fill up large can with water and pour into pot stir well
And 2 small (15.5 oz) cans of dark red Kidney Beans
Add salt and pepper through out (I usually salt and pepper my beef and onions while browning and then after my sauce starts to come together I add more salt and pepper to taste)
1/2 c  homemade canned chunky salsa from the garden.. if you do not have that use mild CHUNKY salsa (I use W-mt great value Brand it is good)
Add a few drops or so of Texas Pete hot sauce (use to your own taste I really don’t measure)

add a handful or two of rigatoni and or Penne Noodles to the sauces.. stir them down so they are covered and bring to a boil.. then turn down heat put on lid and time it for about 17 minutes with lid
Let simmer till beans and noodles are tender

Serve with Shredded cheddar cheese on top of hot chili and noodles when serving
Great with grilled cheese and saltine crackers
