SERENA’S ROSEMARY LEMON HERB ROASTED CHICKEN LEGS

I started with a family pack of drumsticks

Now I gather my herbs ,… Rosemary, Basil, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Parsley, Poultry Seasoning, Paprika

I don’t measure out these I just palm them. you can use more or less of what you like or don’t like

I am using a pestle and mortar to crush down my rosemary

get out a stick of butter and melt it real quick in the microwave ,. set aside

measure out your Basil

Black Pepper

Parsley

Paprika

Poultry Seasoning

Garlic Powder

mix together herbs well.

now grab your lemon juice.. it is time to put it all together

use 1/3 cup lemon juice mixed with the herbs

Next pour in your melted butter

mix and pour over your thawed drumsticks

place your drumsticks on a roasting pan..  and using a brush and the leftover herbed liquid, you will brush each leg

place in 400 degree oven for 35 minutes.. when timer goes off you baste your legs again

10 more minutes.. then baste legs again and putting on broil the last few minutes to maximize the skin of the chicken

Now I plate mine over seasoned rice that I mixed with parmesan cheese while it was hot..

Serve with some nice fried yellow squash, green beans rolls and of course the seasoned rice
