This is made from scratch..(except for the peaches LOLOLOLOL God made those and I canned them lol) Peach Upside Down Cake….and before you say anything YES!!! I know that Peach Upside Down Cake is supposed to be UPSIDE DOWN but I like it oooey and Gooey so THERE!!!!! =P

 


Shelma’s Homemade Peach upside down cake*****

1-cup sugar

1 cup cream

1 tsp baking powder

2 eggs

2 cups flour

1 stick butter

1 tsp vanilla

Or

If you have a yellow cake mix just mix it up instead (just as good)

Preheat oven 350

Take your cake batter that is well mixed and have it ready to go.

Next take a large can of sliced peaches or 1 qt. of home canned with juice and pour into a long baking pan (preferably an old one cause your going to put it on the stove top) add a stick of butter to pan

and add 1/2 box of brown sugar about 3 cups (I mix in a tad of white sugar too) put on stove top sprinkle cinnamon, allspice, and cloves over top of mixture (cloves are optional)

let butter melt and let boil a bit then pour already made cake mixture over top of boiling peaches.

Take the pan with gloves as will be hot and put in oven to bake. (I sometimes like to sprinkle top with cinnamon and sugar)

Bake 30 min approx you can usually tell if done, just watch and use toothpick on top. Great with vanilla ice cream (cake will have a lot of moistness we like that but if you don’t you can easily revise the recipe to your own liking)

 

this one was done today with cinn and sugar on top and served with SNOW cream

Slice that baby up!!!!
