Sift together
2 1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp B Powder
1 tsp salt
cut in shortening:
1/2 c shortening
add:
1 tsp flavoring (vanilla)
2/3 c milk
Then add 1/3 cup milk to 2 ubeaten eggs and add to batter
bake till done
