RECIPE AND PHOTO SUBMITTED BY Tammy Mullens
non stuffed cabbage rolls..so Delicious ..my first time fixing them…

the recipe didn’t call for rice..but I guess it would be good to add,

I used regular salt and minced garlic in jar and added garlic powder,  I didn’t use any oil because the hamburger had it own grease

  • Bonnie Carey Oh ya!!! One of my absolute favorites! Put a big dollop of sour cream on top of each bowl!! OMGoodness..so delish!
it’s the perfect St Patricks Day dish!! remember that for next year
  • Cherie Antin Fasbinder so, is it more of a soup type dish? or serve over rice? or what with? sounds good!
  • Tammy Mullens you can drain, but yes it is a bit soupie
  • Serena Adkins Ellison That looks too good!!!
  • Marina Church looks great
  • Serena Adkins Ellison I want this for supper.. maybe monday
  • Tammy Mullens its so good, I added extra minced garlic to mine
  • Felicia Lisa Ya know… as far as it being “soupy”? This might be worth a try. A local MD/nutritionist said if you want to thicken soup NEVER do it with cream. He swears that if you take a head of cauliflower, and steam/microwave it very well… super soft well done. Blend it to smithereens then pour it in soup you will never know the difference of that vs heavy cream. The cauliflower takes on the flavor of what ever it’s mixed with BUT you save a boat load of calories and fat. This might be a good dish to try it on.
  • Lillian Dunford Bowen Im fixing this right now with corn bread!!!
My no stuffed cabbage rolls & loaded mash potatoes & corn muffins… yes in a Christmas bowel I never noticed that till I took the picture..lol
