Microwavable Rock Candy

1/2 cup lite corn syrup
1 cup of sugar
Must use a 4 cup Microwavable safe measuring cup
mix and cover with siran wrap and put in the microwave for 3 min. 15 sec.

take out and stir (be careful this is extremely hot) and place a fresh piece of siran wrap over the top again and micowave it for another 3 min and 15 sec…

when its done remove it then add 1/2 dram of LorAnn flavoring and some food coloring..
I spray PAM in the bottom of a cake pan and pour it in.. when its hard enough I beat it into small pieces and coat with powdered sugar.. its easy to make, just be really careful cause its hard not to get burnt from the hot steam.. (if its still alittle sticky increase microwave time by 5 sec. 🙂
