  • Patricia Stover Many yrs ago when I was on WW, I mixed orange jello mix (dry) to my cottage cheese so I could eat it but not the whole pkg. I don’t like cottage cheese and it’s the only way I could get it down. Now, I eat pineapple w/ it.
  • Cynthia Brandon Patricia Stover, your comment reminded me of when I would add sugar-free Jell-O to plain non-fat yogurt to make a yummy dessert. That was about 28 years ago!

    MANDARIN ORANGE SALAD

    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (16 oz.) container small curd cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip thawed
    1 (3 oz.) box orange Jell-O

    1. Drain mandarin oranges and pineapple. Discard juices.
    2. Mix all ingredients together well.
    3. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight.
