When Mullens flooded a few years back my Dad worked down there rebuilding the bridges there was a kind lady that had made some pies for them one of them pies was a Buttermilk Pie, well let me tell ya my dad had to have the recipe and he came home and made it i didn’t think i’d like it so i tried it and ended up eatin the whloe pie when my Dad went out side so i want to share it with ya! 

BUTTERMILK PIE
1 cup of Buttermilk
4 eggs
1/2 cup of butter
1 1/2 cup of sugar
2 table spoons of flour
1 pinch of salt
Mix together and pour into a pie shell bake on 400 for 10 mins.
Then bake on 350 for 50 to 60 mins.
