RECIPE SUBMITTED BY James A. Guthrie
Jalapeno chicken Borachong….

1/2 can miller genuine draft beer,(or which ever you may choose)
1 chicken whole fryer
sliced Jalapenos to taste, (many)
liquid smoke butter and cajun spices maybe a dash olive oil

This is mainly a knock off of the “drunk chicken”. clean chicken and loosen the skin to place Jalapenos under the skin, glaze or shine with olive oil adding cajun spices as you go. with the cavity of the chicken clean, pour out half the beer and leave 1/2 can, insert can carefully into the cavity without spilling and sit upright on grill. Cook till done, but the beer keeps so much moisture in that you may desire to remove just before done and finish in hot oven with out the beer.

This is a spicy chicken hence the name chicken Jalapeno. Bora chong is the nick name Dean Martin had in the movie “Rio Bravo”, which means “drunk”..
