Ok I know you think freezing apples is pretty much self explanatory  haha but hear me out.

First time I froze my apples, when I went to grab some they were frozen into a big ole GLOB stuck to each other and I couldn’t get what I needed to make my fried apples easily and fast .. it was a nightmare… and when they DID thaw out they were watery and mushy and all I could do is boil them down and put in pie…. that bad… SO

what you need to do is

1. peel and core and slice like normal

2. if your one of those that worry about browning put apples in a bowl with  lemon juice to soak a little

3. place apples on a large cookie sheet best you can without them overlapping.. if you have a lot like I usually do place a sheet of wax paper over top and then keep on stacking

4. Place cookie sheet laden with apples into the freezer.. leave them in until apples are frozen

5. Take apples out of freezer and put in gallon freezer bags.. apples will not stick together and NOW you can take out a hand full or as many as you need quickly when cooking… =)
