My husband learned the hard way to QUIT COOKING EVERYTHING ON THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE SETTING thinking it logical that the higher the heat, the faster it would cook after he caught a grilled cheese on FIRE (no, he didn’t just burn it black, there were actual flames coming up out of the pan) and had to run screaming “Ooo! AHHH! Ahh! ACK!” to the back door, flaming grilled cheese in the skillet, and toss it out into the back yard…
