FRIED PICKLED CORN?
Can u cut pickled corn off the Cobb and fry it???… if so do u no how I would do it?? …I was asking this because I think when i was little Grandma fried it. I no she fried pickled green beans she dident fry it long. I just remember her just frying the juice out of the green beans. They were so good i real little but I did like those green beans???

  • Serena Adkins Ellison Yes you can.. thelma fries hers with a little fat back and butter..you can even add green n red peppers and onions if desire
  • Lillian Dunford Bowen Thanks Serena!!
  • Sherry Church Browning My mom always fried hers too. In some bacon grease.
  • Lynn McGinnis My MIL told me the key was to cut the kernels off not in whole kernels, but in about half or so, that way you can scrape the cob and get the milky substance from the corn, so that when you fry it (in bacon grease & butter) it will thicken and brown it just a little. Add a bit of water, boil it down until it thickens, then watch it closely and when it starts to sort of scorch, its done! Yumm, takes me back
  • Patricia Stover Lynn, that is exactly how my mom did it!
  • Lillian Dunford Bowen Patricia going to try it!!!!….no one will eat it but me I’m the only one that likes pickled corn. I done ate 2 & 1/2 ears boy is it good!!!
