FLAVORED RICE WITH VERMICELLI (A family Favorite)

in heavy pot with tight fitting lid, start with adding a tad bit of veg oil to the bottom. Slice about a tbsp of onion or to your liking. Add 1 7oz bag of Vermicelli

Add two cups of rinsed long grain white rice. Lightly brown the rice, vermicelli and onion.

add in 4 to 4 1/2 cups water. 1 1/2 tbsp Knorr Chicken Bullion, 1 Tbsp Knorr Tomato Bullion, 1 small (8oz) Tomato Sauce give it a stir and bring to medium high boil,, add in 2-3 Tbsp Mild Thick and Chunky Salsa

Put tight fitting lid on and let it go for 10 minutes then turn off heat and leave there for another 10 minutes without taking off lid!!

take off lid add a few tabs of salted butter and fluff with fork.

So good served hot with fried Italian chicken cutlets and broccoli with cheese!
