kids love to help make this one

2 quarts eggnog

2 liters of white soda (sprite, 7up or generic lemon lime)

vanilla ice cream (1 container should be fine)

ice

nutmeg

punch bowl/laddle

I made this at a Thanksgiving get together for app. 30people,d but I brought a case of canned generic lemon lime soda instead of liters so the kids could help me make it, what they liked about it was watching the fizzy foam created when pouring the soda out over the ice cream…..too cute;)

Take a big punch bowl and fill 1/4 of it with cubed ice, then pour 1 container of egg nog, then scoop ice cream in like 3 to 4 large dollops,(if you scoop small scoops people will laddle ice cream instead of punch in their cups) now pour soda over the large ice cream mounds and do this slowly and watch it fizz, then sprinkle tops of foam with nutmeg. You have to kinda play around with it according to your taste, you may want a thick punch or make it thinner by adding more soda. Save back the other eggnog, soda and more ice cream as the punch gets used you can refill and freshen it up. HUge Hit, adults and kids loved it!
