EGG NOG POUND CAKE

1 c butter

1/2 c shortening

3 c sugar

6 eggs

3c flour

1 c eggnog

1 c flaked coconut

1 tsp lemon extract

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp coconut flavoring

1/2 tsp baking powder

cream butter and shortening gradually add sugar beat well and add one egg at a time beating well after each addition. add flour to creamed mixture alternately with egg nog. ending with flour.

mix just till blended after each addtionin.

Stir in coconut and flavorings. Pour into greased and floured 10 inch pan. bake at 325 degrees 1 hr 30 minutes. cool in pan 10 minutes remove and cool completely.
