RECIPE & PHOTO  POSTED BY Michelle Bolt Riffe
I decided to try my favorite Chinese soup making it at home it came out pretty good.
here is what I did:
Egg Drop Soup
1 box plus 1 can chicken broth reserve 2 tbsps of broth in a bowl
1 stick of butter
2 – 4 eggs lightly beaten
1 tbsb cornstarch
salt and pepper to taste
(you can add I didnt have it 1tbsp soy sauce & 1/4 tsp fresh ginger grated)
green onions chopped up for garnish
Bring chicken broth and stick of butter to a boil. in the bowl with reserved broth add corn starch and stir. Mix that into boiling brothlet it boil a few minutes until broth is thickened. Then start stirring broth in a circular motion then while stirring start pouring eggs into broth. Turn off the heat. Then add salt and pepper to taste. serve and garnish with freshly chopped green onions if you have them.
