So easy .. the base for an amazing cobbler or filling for a great pie or fried hand pies.. Also great topping for Waffles and Dutch Baby’s


1 large can of heavy syrup peaches

(Cut your peaches up)

Pour into a sauce pot add in some white sugar and a tab of butter

let cook down

Take a cup and add a couple tbsp of corn starch and add in a little water , stir the slurry till smooth and pour into the peaches when they come to a boil.. stir and turn off heat



Today I served mine over a Dutch Baby



1/2 c flour

1/2 c milk with lemon juice or buttermilk

2 eggs

1/3 c sugar


pinch salt

Cast Iron Skillet with 2-3 tablespoons butter

Set oven to 425

whip together batter and let it sit 10 minutes or so while oven heats

Put Skillet with butter in oven and when butter melts take out and pour batter into hot pan

put in oven and let it go about 15-20 minutes

take out and immediately

shake with powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar.

serve hot with my delicious peach filling over top

Enjoy  for Breakfast, Brunch or Dessert , here I am having mine with BBQ grilled chicken and rice
