CHOCOLATE LASAGNA

a lot like dirt cake.. only layered.. I actually like Dirt Cake better.. but here ya go.

2 package regular Oreo cookies

6 Tablespoon butter, melted

1- 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened

1 stick butter

1 cup confectionary sugar

1 Tsp clear vanilla

Tbsp milk

1 large tub Cool Whip

2 large packages Chocolate Instant Pudding  mix with 3  cups cold milk

1 large Vanilla Instant Pudding mix dry, 1 small pkg french vanilla instand pudding dry, mix with 3 cups cold milk

cups mini chocolate chips

Begin by crushing 1 package of  Oreo cookies. I used my food processor for this, but you could also place them in a large ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin. When the Oreos have turned into fine crumbs, take melted butter and pour into food processor spout and mix till well blended (if you don’t have one just mix in bowl till well blended and moist)

Press the mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish (I am using a much deeper container for mine.. it is a Rachel Ray Plastic Container that  has high walls so I can layer mine high)  Press the crumbs into the bottom of the pan. Place the pan in the refrigerator while you work on the additional layers.

Mix the cream cheese and butter  with a mixer until light and fluffy.  Add in Confectionary Sugar and Clear Vanilla till creamy.. then add in 1 or 2 Tablespoons of milk .. just enough to make easy to spread..

Spread this mixture over the crust.

Crumble with hands large chunks of oreo

mix your French Vanilla and your Vanilla with Cold milk..

when pudding starts to thicken use rubber spatula to spread over top cookies…

In same mixing  bowl, combine chocolate instant pudding with cold milk.

when pudding starts to thicken use a rubber spatula to spread the mixture over the previous  layer.

Cookies again….

Now Spread the Cool Whip over the top.

use Hershey Syrup on top  make a few lines then drag across

another couple of lines of chocolate at an angle …

Sprinkle mini chocolate chips evenly over the top.

Cover and Place in the freezer for 1 hour, or the refrigerator for 4 hours before serving. great made the day before as well.
