CHINATOWN PEPPER STEAK 

1 lb. round steak (1/2 inch thick)
1 med. onion, chopped
1 (3/4 oz.) pkg. au jus gravy mix
4 tsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 med. green pepper, chopped
3/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Cut meat into short narrow pieces. Heat oil; cook meat, onion and pepper until meat is browned, about 15 minutes. Stir in rest of ingredients. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Makes 4 servings. Serve with hot buttered rice and broccoli spears.
