BROWNIES FOR 50 PEOPLE

 

Ingredients:

1 1/2 C. butter

3 C. sugar

1 T. vanilla

5 beaten eggs

1 1/2 C. flour

1 C. cocoa

1/2 tsp. salt

1 1/2 C. chopped nuts 

Directions: 

Cream the butter until fluffy. Add sugar and mix well, add vanilla and beat in the eggs, one at a time. 

Combine flour, cocoa and salt together, mixing until they are an even color. 

Slowly add the dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well. 

Add nuts and pour into an 11 x 17 inch pan. 

Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes, or until done. 

Cool and frost with your favorite chocolate frosting and sprinkle with additional nuts if desired. 

Cut into squares.
