PHOTO & RECIPE SUBMITTED BY Vonda Gainer

here’s my seafood boil!

I boiled the potatoes first using the Zatarain’s crab and shrimp boil 1/2 stick of unsalted butter and a generous helping of Old Bay seasoning…as soon as the potatoes were done I took them out and put the corn in the same water added the other 1/2 stick of butter…and then in a big stock pot I put water in not that much don’t even fill the stock pot halfway with water, I used more Zatarain’s a lot of old bay and one stick of butter…I dumped the live crabs in and once they all turn orange/red in color the crabs are done…then after rinsing off the shrimp I dumped them in as soon as they turn a pinkish/reddish/orange they’re done. I removed the crabs and shrimp and sprinkled with more Old Bay and they were done. : )
