PEPPERMINT BARK SNOWFLAKES

I used a snowflake cookie sheet mold with a silicone finish, so ne need to grease pan. If you have a silicone snowflake mold, that will be perfect as well.

Makes 12 snowflakes
8 oz. milk chocolate chips
8 oz. white chocolate chips
2 tsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
7 candy canes crushed

Place candy canes in plastic bag and crush carefully with rolling pin. Divide in half.
Melt milk chocolate in microwaveable dish, add 1 tsp. oil, mix and add 1/4 tsp. peppermint extract, mix well. By teaspoon fill equally in each mold. Sprinkle crushed peppermint on top of chocolate in each mold. Refrigerate for 30-40 minutes to harden. Then repeat with white chocolate. Melt white chocolate in microwave, add 1 tsp. oil, mix, add 1/4 tsp. peppermint extract, mix, then spoon on top of hardened milk chocolate. Sprinkle on top with remaining crushed peppermint. Store in airtight container.

Enjoy!
