Cream Cheese Pound Cake

3 c sugar

1 pkg cream cheese

3 c cake flour

1 tbsp vanilla

3 sticks butter

6 eggs

 

Grease and flour 10 in tube pan melt butter and blend with soft cream cheese eggs and vanilla.

Add flour and sugar pour into pan and bake 1 1/2 hrs at 325 turn off oven and let stand 5 min remove from oven immediately and from pan

 

Caramel Glaze 

2 sticks butter

2 (12 oz) cans evaporated milk

2 c sugar

melt butter in deep pot, add sugar stir and add in milk . Stir slowly on and off for about 45 minutes. Careful not to let boil over or scorch. Remove from heat and add vanilla or butterscotch flavoring.
