I always make this when I start getting well enough to cook after having a asthmas attack or bronchitis and been laying around for awhile. It really helps to open you up and helps you start feeling better.

Boil any kind of chicken in large stock pot until done.
While chicken is boiling cut up vegetables:
Whole carrots into thin slices.
Chop large onion.
Chop celery into thin slices.

When chicken is done Remove from pot and set aside to cool.
Strain broth, wash pot and add broth back into it.
Add one chicken bullion cube
Add garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Add a few shakes of Tabasco sauce.
Add a few shakes of parsley flakes.

Add vegetables to broth and simmer until almost tender. While vegetables are cooking chop up chicken and add to pot.

There should be a lot of good broth to sip along with the vegetables. It’s not a yummy family meal but I gentle bland soothing healing soup. Works for cold and flu also or after a stomach virus.
