RECIPE SUBMITTED BY Patricia Stover

The one that I make and everyone loves uses cream cheese, dried beef (Armour brand)cut into pcs (after rinsing it thoroughly or it’s too salty) and diced green onion tips.

This cheese ball is my favorite! Make sure you wash the dried beef really good, drain, and either cut up or put it in food processor. If you don’t, it will be TOO salty to eat. Also, I don’t use the garlic salt or mayo. Everyone loves this cheeseball!
  • 1 pkg Philly cream cheese
  • 1 jar dried beef slices cut into small peices with scissors or food processor.
  • snip tops off green onions – dark green stems
  • garlic salt to taste
  • Mayonnaise if needed

COMMENTS

  • Patricia Stover Brenda, do you remember when I made this and brought it to work and Mike Horton’s reaction? He went absolutely nuts over it. LOL
  • Brenda Ronnie Johnson I do love this one but I have found at Krogers that they have a dried beef that hangs up where the lunch meats are that is not salty and is very good for this cheese ball
  • Patricia Stover The Armour brand in a pkg?
    instead of a jar?
  • Brenda Ronnie Johnson No it is Kroger brand. They keep it but during holidays they sell out so I always make sure to get mine early in Dec.
  • Andrea Turnes I never wash my beef and I don’t think it’s too salty. I use the jar. I love it.
