MINTY BUTTERCREAM BLONDE  BROWNIE BITES


BLONDIES:

2 cups self rising flour

2/3 cup margarine

2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs. slightly beaten
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup Milk Choc chips

Heat oven to 350

pour in melted margarine with sugar stir in eggs and vanilla.

Add flour a small amount at a time until mixed well after each addition.

Stir in one cup choc chips

spray a mini muffin pan with bakers joy  and do not overfill a Tbsp will do

Bake about 10-12 minutes ….don’t bake too long watch it every oven is different…

take out carefully with small spoon and immediately put onto rack to cool.

Make your butter cream icing

BUTTERCREAM ICING:

1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening

1/2 cup butter or margarine

4 cups about.. of confectionary sugar

2 Tbsp Milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Cream your shortening and butter..

add sugar

add your milk and vanilla..

if it is not stiff enough add more confectionary sugar.. too thick add a tad more milk.

ASSEMBLEY:


Take your icing and put into your bag.. (Using a glass makes this easier)

I am a terrible decorator .. no lessons.. some day.. but I found that using a bread tie or a rubberband on the end helps keep me from accidentally making a mess on the other end..

Pipe the center of each blondie

and top off with some ANDE’S MINTS Bites.. about three will do

let the kids do this part.. they really enjoy it..

and your done.
