LORA’S MEATLOAF TIP

my moms meatloaf trick instead of adding bread crumbs or oats add in a box of stuffing mix made my meatloaf delish yesterday evening!

So I tried it.. I added my meat, three eggs, salt, pepper, chicken flavored stove top stuffing mix, 3 slices bread torn, couple cloves garlic minced, half onion chopped, I ALWAYS add green bell pepper chopped but I am out. don’t even have any in the freezer =( so this will be different.. but it smells devine…oh and I added some ketchup after I mixed it up good, them mixed it some more.. formed my meatloaf and put in 400 degree oven for 40 minutes it was a large meatloaf.. then covered top with ketchup and put back into the oven and baked for 10-15 more minutes till the ketchup set.. served with mashed potatoes, corn, country green beans and rolls. =)
