my take on a holiday chex mix:
bag of pretzel sticks
bag of holiday m & m’s
bag of vanilla flavored chocolate chips (or almond bark)
any kind of chex cereal (almost a whole box, I don’t really measure)
mix pretzels, m&m’s and chex cereal in big bowl, melt vanilla chocolate chips in glass microwave bowl (instructions on melting are on the bag). pour melted chocolate chips over the pretzel mixtures and toss to coat, turn out onto wax paper and separate pieces as much as possible. when cooled store in air tight container.
I have made this every years for several years, but did not make it last year to try something different, and everyone wanted to know where it was! it is very addicting!
