FRENCH TOAST BAKE
heat oven to 400 degrees
Grab a loaf of bread or Buns .. tear up in large pieces
Today I am using a pack of Hot Dog Buns.
Place torn bread in a sprayed 9×13 pan
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture and add tabs of butter across the bread
In mixing bowl, add 8 eggs and 1 cup sugar 1/3 cup milk and Tbsp cinnamon
Mix well
Pour over bread .. push around with spatula to make sure all bread is wet
I now pour a little milk throughout the pan.. maybe 1/3 cup if guessing.. not much .. just enough that it is nice and wet but not swimming..
Sprinkle once more with a bit of cinnamon sugar and a light drizzle of
Maple syrup
Bake in oven now or cover and put in fridge till morning
Bake about 25 min.. check to make sure she is ready
Drizzle with syrup .. can drizzle with milk as well if too dry.. mine came out pretty good .. should be a moist but done when you cut into it ..
