I USE BAKERS JOY.. BUT IF YOU DON’T HAVE IT YOU CAN DO THE FOLLOWING:

 

When making a 2-layer cake it is sooo much easier to get the cake out in one piece if you line the bottom of pans with wax paper. Simply turn your pan over and take scissors and trace out your pan cut to size and butter the bottom and sides then place the wax cut out inside and butter the top of it also pour in batter and when cake is cooled just wiggle a little to loosen and it will pop right out no problem just don’t forget to peel off your wax paper from bottom of cake
