COUNTRY FRIED BREADED PORK CHOPS ~ served with Homemade Brown Gravy over  Roasted Potatoes  with Cinnamon Apples on the side

Note: if doing roasted potatoes with yours like I did you must put your roasted potatoes in FIRST cause they must bake 45 minutes or so.. (recipe on this website for the roasted potatoes.. I do these all the time with all different spices, according to what I feel that day.. italian or plain, cheese ect

SERENA’S RECIPE FOR COUNTRY FRIED BREADED PORK CHOPS

1 1/2 cups Self Rising Flour

Paprika

Garlic Powder

Pepper

Salt

Parsley Flakes

add spices to the flour and mix with fork

in a pie tin or shallow dish wisk together 3 eggs and 3 Tbsp Milk

Take your thawed  Pork Chops and tenderize with jaccard or if you do not have one of those lightly pound the meat around the bone

then  put your oil in your pan or chicken fryer.. I am using a chicken fryer cause it will get more done faster..  REMINDER if you use a pan do not overcrowd or they will be soggy instead of crispy.

Okay so once your oil is hot..

Dredge your pork chop in the egg wash first..

then over into the flour  on each side. shake off excess

then put into the sizzling oil.. do not overcrowd..

Let them fry on that one side until you see the edges changing and browning and the blood comes up top .. then turn and let the other side crisp up..

these fry up pretty fast.. it doesn’t take a long time.. you have to fry enough to get them good and  crispy but do not over do it cause you don’t want all the moisture out of them.. you want them to be just right.

Once crispy take out with fork or tongs and put onto your slotted drip pan so the oil can drain off them.. finish frying all the rest of your pork chops

and after they rest a minute or so while you make gravy.. you can put on a plate and serve but do it last cause when you put one chop on top of another you run the risk of making them soggy and lose their crisp skins

Now I took a little of the oil my pork chops cooked in and I made a brown gravy to serve overtop my potatoes
