CORNBREAD (WHITE MEAL)
Put Crisco in your cast iron pan, put in oven and let melt at 450 while mixing cornbread
mix together 1 1/2 c white corn meal
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 egg
1 c buttermilk
rinse buttermilk cup – add water- make batter thinner , pour melted crisco into batter and into hot pan and bake. 450
