Bro D’s ORGANIC WHOLE WHEAT CORNBREAD MUFFINS

2 cups Hodgson Mill Organic Wholewheat Flour
1/2 cup Hodgson Mill Organic Yellow Corn meal
2 Organic brown eggs
1 1/2 cups Organic 0% fat Buttermilk
1tsp Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1tsp Clabber Girl Baking Soda
1/3 cup organic shortening
2 LG tsp organic sugar
2tsp organic honey or agave

 

Mix all dry ingredients with shortening till well mixed . Add buttermilk and beaten eggs . DO NOT OVER MIX !
Cook at 400 degress for 10-12 minutes .

Top with organic butter or whatever suits your fancy .

These are reall good with all sorts of toppings such as fruit , honey , agave and the likes  ·

These make a wonderful breakfast as well. It’s real simple for a cold breakfast on the fly .

Refrigerate muffins first .

Then in the morning , cut in half , take desired amount of Stonyfiled Organic Yogurt and mix with your favorite fruit and just pour over the muffins .

 

YIPPIE ! What a yummy breakfast for sure
