BEST PLAIN APPLESAUCE IS MADE FROM WOLF RIVER APPLES
cut them up and put them into a large pot with a tab of butter
add a very small amount of water.. and stir.. you can always add more water if needed..
you cook them till soft then transfer to crock pot and cook down some more of the wolf rivers
Once Crock Pot has cooked them down add sugar to taste and use my secret weapon
and emulsifier … it is AMAZING with the wolf river.. makes perfect sauce
