2 eggs
2 cups water
2 packs pillsbury date or nut quick bread mix… if don’t have can use banana
2 cups pecan, chopped
handful walnuts (optional)
2 cups raisins
3 8oz pkgs of 3 cup candied fruit
(red candied cherries, pineapple, green candied cherries)
corn syrup
Heat oven 350 and flour bottom and sides of bunt pan or tube pan..
in large bowl combine eggs and water
add remaining ingredients.. except for corn syrup
stir by hand until combined. Pour into prepared pan .. bake at 350 for 75 to 85 min or until toothpick comes out clean..
COOL IN PAN 30 MIN… loosen edges remove from pan.. cool completely.. wrap in plastic wrap or foil store in fridge.. glaze with warm corn syrup before serving… I just poured mine over hot cake so we could dig in this time ha ahahha…
