Recipe from Patti’s 1880 Settlement in Grand Rivers, KY
Sawdust Pie 

7 egg whites
1 1/2 cups sugar

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 1/2 cups pecans
1 1/2 cups coconut
9 inch pie shell
mix all ingredients together & stir by hand. pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees oven till glossy and set. (about 25-30 minutes) do not overbake. Serve with sliced bananas and whipped cream. I just made this for thanksgiving and it was really good, I did add an extra egg white because I didn’t think it was wet enough and it took alot longer to cook, but it was still good!
