It don’t get any easier than this.

The hard part is making your homemade sour kraut the rest is a  breeze =)

All you need is some polish sausage (or can use plain ole hot dog wieners)

some good sour kraut.. if you don’t make it homemade I recommend buying it in the glass jar at the grocery not the bags..

Now heat your cast iron pot, tiny bit of oil and fry up your polish sausage.. salt and pepper

add in two pints or one quart of quality kraut

let heat jus till kraut is warmed through.. turn off

and serve with warm sweet cornbread. ( the sweet cornbread is a great combination with the sourness of the kraut )
