SERENA’S SNICKER CAKE

about 18 miniature Snickers Bars (can use milky way too)  (Reserve 4 of the bars for the top of the cake)

2 sticks of butter

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1/2 cup self rising flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking Soda

1 1/4 cup buttermilk

Cream Sugar and 1 stick of butter. Add Eggs mix well

Add All Purpose Flour, salt, baking Soda and buttermilk

add Self Rising flour stirring well add vanilla

On stove put in pot 14 mini candy bars and 1 stick butter melt stirring CONSTANTLY over heat till melted.

Pour melted mixture into your cake batter and stir until incorporated.

Put oven on 325

Spray a Tube Pan with Bakers Joy or butter and Flour WELL as this will be hard to get out if you don’t.

Pour in batter

and bake until done.. about 50 minutes or so.. you have to watch it.. and take out when done.. but not overbaked… I never can give exact time I bake my cakes.. just watch it.

Now take out of oven let set about one or two minutes and then take and gently loosen edges with thin knife. Loosen cake from mold by gently shaking back and forth and giving a sharp shimmy..

once you are certain your cake is loose you then will place a plate over top and in one quick swift motion (using hand towels as it is hot) flip it over onto the plate. …

TOPPING

4 mini snicker bars sliced evenly across

Marshmallow Cream

Hot Fudge Sauce

Caramel

tuck wax paper under edges to catch your drippings.

Do finish the top you will  take marshmallow cream, about two spoonfulls and put in bowl into microwave for a couple of SECONDS.. that is all..  just barely

now spread it on top of hot cake in thin layer and HALFWAY down edge.. all the way around..

Next you will take your snicker slices and you will go around outer edge and inner edge

Next take a spoonfull or two of the fudge and put in bowl and into microwave for a few seconds to get it thinner

dabble around lightly… not too much..

go over it with the caramel and last but not least drop a bit of each around the edges of cake so it will slide down …

let set for a bit, then gently pull out wax paper..

Serve.
